Having Difficulty Understanding?

It is important that you understand what to expect whilst in the Day Surgery and for staff to be able to communicate with you and your carer in order to provide the best possible care. If you have difficulty understanding information about your care you can:

  • Ask the nurse to explain more clearly.
  • Ask for further information.
  • Feel free to ask questions about any aspect of your care.
  • Ask for a translator (you are welcome to bring a family member or friend to act as an interpreter).
